Executive Board Meetings

Our Executive Board meets at least once each quarter and more often when necessary. Under state law, board meetings generally are open to the public. This assures the public's right to be fully informed about the board's decisions and provides an opportunity for interested parties to present its views to the board.

However, at times the law allows the board to hold closed meetings under specific circumstances, including meetings that involve

  • Employee evaluation or discipline
  • Labor negotiations
  • Limited attorney-client privilege
  • Discussion of certain security issues
  • Discussion of certain types of medical and mental health data that are nonpublic data

By law, the board provides notice of it's meetings and an agenda on this website least 24 hours before the board meets in person and three days before a virtual meeting or special meeting.
