Dr. KyleeAnn Stevens

Executive Medical Director for Behavioral Health

KyleeAnn Stevens, MD, is the Executive Medical Director for Behavioral Health. 

She oversees clinical care in DCT programs, leads a team of medical directors, clinical informatics staff, Central Preadmissions, credentialing and privileging, and the DCT Transitions Team. She leads the organized medical staff in DCT and chairs the Statewide Medical Executive Committee. 

Dr. Stevens is board certified in psychiatry and forensic psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her medical training at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and her residency and fellowship training in forensic psychiatry at Georgetown University. She serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota, is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and holds a black belt certification in the Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement methodology. 

Dr. Stevens joined DCT in 2014, first as the Medical Director at Forensic Services. She became Executive Medical Director in 2017. Prior to joining DCT, Dr. Stevens worked as an attending psychiatrist at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington D.C. where she also served as the Director of Forensic Services and served on the faculty at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and Walter Reed National Capitol Consortium.
