Our Executive Board
Direct Care and Treatment's nine-member Executive Board consists of seven voting members and two non-voting members. Under state law, the governor appoints six members who must meet certain qualifications to be considered. The remaining three board members are designated in statute to include:
- The commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Services
- A non-voting member chosen by the Association of Minnesota Counties
- A non-voting member chosen by labor unions that represent DCT employeesÂ
