Melissa Ells is DCT's Executive Director of Outpatient Services.
Leading a team of about 116 full- and part-time employees, she oversees the operations of pharmacy services, dental services, outpatient psychiatry and primary care.
Ells joined DCT in 2007. She has previously worked as a staff pharmacist, director of pharmacy, and as the executive director of pharmacy services in DCT's Forensic Services Division.
She holds a degree as a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and is a board certified psychiatric pharmacist as well as a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist. She is currently working towards her FACHE (Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives) accreditation.
