Board of Social Work Professional License Responsibility Training: Every year, the Board presents at Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited social work programs in Minnesota to educate graduating students about professional licensure responsibilities, including valuable information about the Board's mission, licensing requirements, and the application and Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) exam process. Curricular Guide for Licensing and Regulation: Developed by ASWB in collaboration with CSWE and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Risk Retention Group, the Curricular Guide for Licensing and Regulation is intended to provide social work educators information and strategies for educating students about social work licensure and regulation, and is designed to facilitate the integration of licensure and regulation education throughout social work curricula and programming.
Path to Licensure: ASWB's Path to Licensure program is designed to bring the worlds of education and regulation together in the classroom to strengthen student and faculty knowledge of professional regulation and its important connection to public protection and social work values and ethics.
