General Information

  • Most applications are online applications. Others are downable PDFs that you complete, print and then mail in.

  • All applications expire after six months if incomplete.

  • Please read application instructions carefully. You must meet all of the requirements listed/referenced at the time of application.

  • Credit cards are only accepted for online applications.

  • No faxed or emailed PDF applications will be accepted, as you must include payment by check or money order (no cash or credit card).

  • You can find fee information on the webpage or application specific to your profession.

    Active and Veteran Military Members: Some fees may be waived or reimbursed under various state and federal programs. See the Military page for details.

  • Transcripts and education evaluations must be official copies and be sent to the Board directly from the institution by mail or email (aelslagid@state.mn.us).

  • Applicant information is private under the Minnesota Data Practices Act. The Board cannot provide third parties (this includes adminstrative assistants and family members) with any information regarding the existence or status of an application.
