Patient Care Report Proposed Rules 4690.8050

On May 4^th 2026 the Office of EMS published in the State Register a Notice of Intent to propose rules that codify requirements related to the submission of patient care reports by Minnesota Ambulance Services.  The Notice of Intent and the proposed rules can be viewed here State Register Posting 05.04.2026.  

Medication Variances

• Medication Variance Rule Changes
  These proposed changes as recommended by the EMS Physician Advisory Council would add medications that can be administered by Basic Life Support ambulances.

• Amended Application Requirements
  As proposed this rule would amend 4690.0200 and eliminate duplicative requirements for ambulance service license renewal applications.
