July 5, 2024 - Because Dr. Mooney’s protected activity was a substantial causative factor in Respondents’ decision to dismiss her, Respondents discriminated against Dr. Mooney in violation of the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1973 (the Act). Dr. Mooney and the Department are therefore entitled to relief under Minn. Stat. §§ 182.669 (2022).
