71-3500-38362-In the Matter of the HAVA Elections Complaint of The Public Interest Legal Foundation July 29, 2022-Respondent is not the official tasked with responsibility to remove duplicate registrations from the SVRS under HAVA or state law. Respondent follows procedures for list maintenance to eliminate duplicate registrations, and the Legislature has directed county auditors to undertake actions that will identify and eliminate duplicates. To the extent that a claim may be made that Minnesota officials have not removed duplicate registrations, such a claim is properly directed against the county auditor for the county in which that voter resides. There are no disputes of material fact remaining to be decided, and Respondent is entitled to judgment as a matter of law. As a result, Respondent’s Motion is GRANTED, and Complainant’s Motion is DENIED. Last Modified: 7/29/2022 Size: 0 Author: Categories: Tags:
