1800-37591 In the Matter of the Appeal by Upper Midwest American Indian Center of the Order of License Revocation and Private Agency Authorization Revocation License No. 830950 (Child-Placing Agency – Rule 4) February 22, 2022- In sum, the Department had multiple reasons to revoke UMAIC’s private agency authorization and its license. In fact, it could have done so years ago, but made a good faith effort to assist UMAIC to correct its compliance problems. There is no evidence that any children were harmed by UMAIC’s violations, but the risk is palpable. As for the revocation of the authorization, that risk of harm is all that is necessary. The license revocation is well supported by the record. Both revocations should be AFFIRMED by the Commissioner. Last Modified: 2/22/2022 Size: 0 Author: Categories: Tags:
