June 28, 2018 - The Administrative Law Judge concludes that the MTRFA violated Minn. Stat § 356.371, subds. 2 and 3 (1982), by failing to provide the required information and notice to [Redacted] and [Redacted] regarding [Redacted]’s retirement benefit selection. The Administrative Law Judge respectfully recommends that the TRA institute a 50 percent survivorship benefit for [Redacted] under Option (c)(1) of the MTRFA retirement plan as a remedy for MTRFA’s failure to provide the required information and notification under Minn. Stat. § 356.371.
