July 2, 2026 - The Department has established that it acted properly when it denied Appellant’s application for a foster care license. Accordingly, the Court would recommend the Commissioner AFFIRM the Amended Order of License Denial. The above stated, the Court would also recommend the Commissioner consider working with Appellant regarding the ongoing care of the two minor relatives. This decision is entirely within the Commissioner’s purview, of course.
