April 1, 2026 - Petitioners have not established that the property proposed for detachment would not unreasonably affect the symmetry of the detaching municipality, and that the land is not needed for reasonably anticipated future development. Additionally, the City would experience undue hardship in carrying on the functions of government if the Petition for Detachment were granted. Therefore, the Petition for Detachment must be denied under Minn. Stat. § 414.06.
