25-2500-41199 In the Matter of the Application of Northern States Power Company D/B/A Xcel Energy for an up to 135.5 MW Battery Energy Storage System Site Permit for the Blue Lake Battery Energy Storage Project in Scott County, Minnesota
March 18, 2026 - Based upon these Conclusions, the Administrative Law Judge recommends that the Commission issue a Site Permit to Xcel Energy to construct and operate the Project and associated facilities in Scott County, Minnesota and that the permit includes the draft permit conditions amended as set forth in the Conclusions above.
