The Emergency Medical Service Providers Division is part of the Minnesota Office of Emergency Medical Services. Led by a deputy director, we oversee laws, rules, and policies that support EMS professionals across the state.
We handle the certification and registration of individual EMS providers, ensuring they meet state standards to provide safe and effective care.
We are responsible for ensuring EMS providers follow state laws and professional standards. When issues arise, our division conducts thorough investigations and takes appropriate enforcement actions to protect public safety and maintain trust in the EMS system.
