Born in Minnesota, Lucas is pursuing a political science degree at the University of Minnesota. He has had hands-on experience in the legislature through programs such as the Minnesota High School Page program, Youth in Government, and job shadowing at the clerk's office. This legislative session, Lucas is interning for MCLA, where he assists with bill monitoring, research, and analysis.
