Critical Infrastructure GIS Data for Minnesota

The Minnesota Geospatial Advisory Council's Emergency Preparedness Committee (EPC) is Minnesota’s principal organization for promoting, coordinating, and standardizing GIS use across all levels of the state's Emergency Management community. The EPC's Critical Infrastructure Assessment Workgroup is developing a workflow for state critical infrastructure to be updated in statewide and national datasets. The team has identified the following datasets as critical infrastructure.

The Minnesota Situational Awareness Viewer (MNSAV) is an interactive viewer that combines many of the best available critical infrastructure datasets and US National Grid Responder Maps. MNSAV was first released August 2020. The viewer was developed to provide the Minnesota public with a "one-stop-shop" for publicly available emergency/disaster planning and response mapped information. Extensive research was conducted to ensure the public domain data sources used were the best available at that time. Data cannot be downloaded from this site.
