The essential duties of this position are as follows: provide physical security in the courtroom for the judge, court personnel, attorneys and the general public; maintain security and control of inmates including escorts to and from court holding facilities and the jail; enforce the law, rules, regulations and policies of the court; and/or makes arrests when required. Transport inmates to and from jails, clinics, and other applicable locations; ensure safety and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Perform duties related to the execution of court orders and legal process service. Uses lawful and authorized force to control and arrest those subject to legal detention. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned or as it becomes apparent in carrying out other responsibilities.
Qualifications: Associates degree in law enforcement and two years of law enforcement experience.
