Lateral Officer Incentives: We value your experience. Lateral hires will receive the following upon starting:
• 1 to less than 5 years of experience: 100 hours sick leave + 40 hours vacation
• 5 or more years of experience: 200 hours sick leave + 80 hours vacation
• Longevity percentage: based on prior successful years of experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be POST Licensed or POST License Eligible in the State of Minnesota at the time of hire
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a licensed peace officer
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
