Job Description: The City of Fergus Falls is accepting applications for full-time Police Officer opening(s).  We are a midsized agency in west central Minnesota that is greatly supported by our community of 14,000 people and located along Interstate 94.  Fergus Falls is the county seat of Otter Tail County which boasts over 1,000 lakes, miles or trails, and a number of state parks and other recreational facilities.  We have a staff of 24 sworn officers and five full-time support staff.  We have a newer facility, on-site fitness center, modern equipment, and a variety of specialized assignments. 

The 2025 proposed base wages are $34.23 to $46.21 an hour and up to approx. $48.50 with certain premiums.   Officers looking to lateral and who are recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.  Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted for expedited hiring, so all applicants are encouraged to apply early.  Please submit a completed application and cover letter to:  City of Fergus Falls Human Resources, 112 West Washington Ave., Fergus Falls, MN  56537 no later than 11:00 AM, Friday, August 29th , 2025.
