*Being focused on proactive policing, aggressively pursuing and arresting criminals, active traffic safety, and helping victims obtain justice, as well as a solid tradition of active community engagement
*Working for a city with very strong support from the city council, city administration, and our community
*Working in a new state of the art facility that includes indoor parking, individual work stations, a full workout facility including sauna and massage chair, training rooms, DT/mat room including a VIRTRA training system, along with having outstanding equipment
*Working for supportive supervisors and command staff that genuinely care about the wellbeing of the team as people and their families with numerous department family events throughout the year
*Access to a robust wellness program including a peer support team, in-house therapist, workout facility and workout on duty policy, financial & time off incentives for wellness initiatives, and paid 4-week sabbatical leave every 4 years
