"> Job Description: The Kanabec County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a Deputy Sheriff position. You must be MN POST licensed, or eligible to be licensed by date of offer. Lateral entry will be considered for those with previous law enforcement experience. You must possess a valid MN Driver's License, and pass a background investigation, an employment physical, and a psychological exam. We serve a rural community of 16,000 situated north of the metro between St. Paul, St Cloud, and Duluth. We patrol 600 square miles and contract with 2 cities for law enforcement services. We have a generous benefits package including a uniform allowance, insurance, pension, paid holidays and PTO. There are opportunities in Patrol, Investigations, Drug Task Force, ERT, Boat and Water/Snowmobile Safety and assigned squads. Enjoy working and living in the Gateway to the North.
