Job Description: The City of New Ulm Police Department is currently seeking a Police Officer who wants to join a team committed to community engagement and proactive policing.  This position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities associated with the enforcement, investigation, and community service functions of police patrol.  The position requires a valid driver’s license and must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a full-time MN Peace Officer.  An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and full-time law enforcement experience is preferred.  The pay range is $34.56 - $44.36 per hour.  We provide a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD/STD insurances, flex spending plan, health care savings plan, PERA, deferred compensation plans, educational incentives, EAP, and generous leave plans.
