The Police Department consists of 8 full-time officers. 12-hour shifts with up to a 3-month rotation of days, afternoons, and nights. The City Council is very supportive of law enforcement. Officers become well rounded in all aspects of police work to include search warrants, investigations, traffic enforcement, community involvement, and day to day police operations.
