Regional Data & Trends
Find at-a-glance trends and data for northeastern Minnesota, including population, housing, and workforce. Profiles are available for counties, school districts, and cities. County profiles include comparisons between 2000 and the most recent data; school district profiles include comparisons with our service area as a whole.
By tracking and analyzing trends in areas that affect our quality of life, Minnesota Compass gives everyone in our region – business and community leaders, and concerned individuals who live and work here – a common foundation to act on issues to improve our communities and region.
It does this by:
- Providing unbiased, credible information.
- Tracking trends and measuring progress on issues that impact our quality of life.
- Identifying disparities by including trend data by race, age, gender and income whenever possible.
- Providing additional resources for addressing issues.
