Capitol Area Community Vitality Kick-Off
On July 14, 2025, the Capitol Area Community Vitality Kick-Off was held near Cass Gilbert Memorial Park. The event was hosted by the office of Representative María Isa Pérez-Vega, Representative Samakab Hussein, the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board (CAAPB), Ramsey County, Ramsey County Sheriff's office, and the MN State Legislature in partnership with the City of Saint Paul. There were booths from Saint Paul Port Authority, the Capitol Region Watershed District, Minnesota Historical Society, Minnesota State Horticultural Society, a community artist, and CAAPB. In addition, there were bounce houses, a climbing wall, food trucks, live music, and a fire truck!
