Brief update from POST:

Improved Recruitment Information Deployed to Website

POST job postings are the most visited portion of our website. Beyond just posting jobs, we believed it was important to further assist applicants that are considering becoming a peace officer in Minnesota.

As a result, we now have on our website:

·       Better descriptions of the multiple paths to licensure that can be easily selected by applicants based upon their specific situation.

·       Direct links to PPOE educational institutions or agencies that offer Pathways programs.

·       A new exam study guide

You can access the “Applicants” tab at this link: https://mn.gov/post/applicants/

You can access the “Get Started” button at this link: https://mn.gov/post/applicants/generalinformation/get-started/

We would like to hear from you if you have feedback on these changes and information. We are always looking for better ways to provide information to our stakeholders. Feel free to email our Education Coordinator Rob Skoro at rob.skoro@state.mn.us with your feedback.

POST Cannot Receive Faxes

Because of office expansion and remodeling, POST will not be able to receive Faxes until at least June of 2024. This is temporary until work is complete. Submission of forms can completed in your POST portal (all licensees) or by email or phone (public or licensees). Faxes are not recommended for communication with POST.

If you are having difficulty with your POST portal, do not hesitate to contact us at 651-643-3060 or email us at: postboard.agency.docs@state.mn.us
