Job Description: West Concord Police Department is currently seeking to fill the position of a Police Officer. The position will be a licensed position, working part-time hours as needed to supplement scheduling needs. Weekends and holidays are required. General duties of the position are to perform responsible police work involving the protection and safety of the community through prevention of crime, preserving peace, regulating traffic, providing emergency services and other related duties as required.
Minimum qualifications: applicants must be Minnesota P.O.S.T. Board licensed or eligible to be licensed by date of appointment and must have a valid driver’s license. Applicants must also be able to pass a background investigation, medical and psychological evaluations.
Preferred qualifications: active MN Peace Officers license with another agency or the ability to commit to 2 years of active duty if hired by the city.
