MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Requires equivalency of high school diploma. Applicants must be MN POST Board licensed or eligible by appointment and possess a valid MN driver’s license.
Successful completion of comprehensive background examination
Ability to perform the essential job functions of the Police Officer position
Compensation:
Wages - This is a non-exempt union position with the following hourly pay range:
2025 Salary Range $37.09 - $48.81 with an excellent benefits package
2026 Salary Range $38.57 – $50.76 with an excellent benefits package
Step placement beyond the entry level is determined based on experience, role alignment, and internal evaluation processes.
