Job Description: The City of Winnebago is accepting applications for an immediate full-time police officer opening.
This position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities associated with the enforcement, investigation, and community service functions of a patrol officer. We have great community support, a community-oriented department, and a healthy work-life balance.
Minimum qualifications: MN POST Board licensed or eligible to be licensed, and valid driver's license. Applicants must be able to successfully pass psychological, medical, and a thorough background check prior to hire.
$5,000 hiring incentive as follows:
* $1,500 lump sum paid upon hiring
* $1,500 lump sum paid after completion of 12 month probationary period.
* $2,000 lump sum paid after 24 months of employment.
