Job Description: The City of Milaca Police Department is accepting applications to fill the position of (3) Full-Time Police Officers. Applicants must be P.O.S.T. Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the date of hire. The current starting pay for 2025 is $28.86 per hour. Top pay is currenlty $37.20 per hour based on a six-year step schedule.
Benefits: The City of Milaca provides a competitive benifits package including 100% individual employer paid health and dental premium. Family health premiums are covered by the employer at 85% of the premium. A generous HSA contribution of $3,000 per year for individuals, and $6,000 per year for family. Long-term disability and short-term disability coverage paid by the employer. Life insurance coverage of $20,000 paid by the employer. Initial equipment and uniforms will be provided by employer, starting in the second year of employment, officers will receive a $1,000 uniform allowance annually per the union contract.
