2026 wages: $43.84-64.38 per hour
2027 wages: $45.16-66.30 per hour
*Lateral candidates will be credited for their years of service.
Join an organization where you are supported by the community, city council, county attorney, command staff and peers! Our schedule consists of 10.5 hour shifts that includes two weekends off a month, typically with 4-5 days off. Officers bid once a year with option for a different summer schedule. Our academy and internal trainings are hosted at our state-of-the-art HERO center. Approved $60 million dollar Public Safety building remodel.
Our organization focuses on mental and physical wellbeing for our officers. We provide chaplain support, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement. Woodbury officers are afforded great training opportunities as well as a wide range of career development opportunities including canine handler (5 dog unit), investigations, full time trainers, mental health response, street crimes unit, bike patrol, Mobile Field Force, SWAT, unmanned aerial vehicle pilots, school resource officers, and other instructor assignments.
