Job Description: The Barnesville Police Department is accepting applications for one (1) full-time Police Officer position.  Applicants must be MN P.O.S.T. Board licensed or eligible to be licensed by hire date.

Barnesville, MN is located about 25 miles southeast of Fargo-Moorhead near the southern border of Clay County along I-94. The Barnesville Police Department has a Chief of Police, four fulltime officers, and a records specialist. Additional FTO pay.
Longevity pay increases about 5 years.
92 hours of holiday hours applied to comp time.
1 ½ pay on the holidays worked.
On-call pay rate is 20% of base rate per hour.
12-hour shifts, every other weekend off.
