Job Description: Murray County is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Deputy Sheriff.  This position, under general supervision, serves and patrols the County on an assigned shift in the enforcement of local, state and federal ordinances and laws to observe, prevent and terminate unlawful activities.  Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent and two year Criminal Justice degree or any equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience.  POST certification.  Possession of a valid State of Minnesota driver's license.

-Murray County Deputies have the benefit of a take home squad car, 7 on 7 off schedule, either straight days or nights, with no rotating schedule.

-Load bearing ballistic vests

-Training/ Instructor opportunities
