Job Description: Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office is seeking highly skilled and dedicated licensed officers to join our Patrol Division. In this role, you will perform general duty law enforcement work to protect life and property across one of Minnesota’s fastest growing counties. You will be trusted to make critical decisions in dynamic situations, experienced officers will train and provide guidance to less experienced staff, helping to shape an evolving department all while upholding the highest level of trust and integrity.
Hiring Range: $46.72 - $51.92
Lateral hiring wage will be considered dependent upon experience and qualifications.
We are committed to officer development and maintaining high standards. Our goal is to provide our staff with the training they need to effectively police our community, seek specialty assignments (K9, Emergency Response Unit (ERU), Dive Team, Financial Crimes and Welfare Fraud, Drug Task Force (DTF), School Resource Officer) and the opportunity to advance into leadership roles.
We have a designated training officer that develops and provides comprehensive training to all licensed staff, adhering to P.O.S.T. requirements and beyond.
