Corcoran Police Department Health and Wellness Program:
1. Wellness Travel Reimbursement: Officers will be allotted $1,500 per year for wellness travel, which can be rolled over for four years, equal to $6,000.
2. Mental Health Sabbatical: Officers will be granted a three-week sabbatical every 48 months while working for the Corcoran Police Department.
3. Health Insurance Severance Payment: Officers will receive $150 per month of service paid into a health insurance severance account, which can be paid out to the officer upon retirement with the City of Corcoran.
Annual Base Wage: $83,990.40 - $107,307.20
2026 Projected Annual Base Wage: $86,923.20 - $111,072
Additional Benefits: Voluntary benefits (medical insurance, dental insurance, health savings account, flexible spending accounts), City paid Short-term and Long-term Disability, and $50,000 in City paid life insurance.
Corcoran still maintains some of the highest standards in the profession. Candidates will be required to successfully complete physical and psychological screenings, pass a background check, and have a valid driver's license. Applicants must meet all minimum qualifications outlined in the job description and be POST licensed by 2/28/2026. Lateral entry will be considered.
