 - Community Engagement Officer

 - Dakota County Drug Task Force

 - South Metro SWAT (SMS)

 - Electronic Crimes Unit

 - Field Training Officer

 - Investigations • K9 Officer

 - Range/Use of Force Instructor

 - School Resource Officer 

Benefits include:

 - WAGES--patrol exp considered in salary placement; front-loading of 24 hours sick & vacation leave

 - Minimum 88 hours of vacation; accrual commensurate with patrol experience

 - 132 hours of holiday pay annually

 - All uniforms and equipment provided

Minimum qualifications:

 - Associate's degree in law enforcement from regionally accredited college 

 - Non-probationary status at the time of application

 - Eligibility to be licensed by the Minnesota Peace Officers Standards and Training Board as full-time peace officer at the time of hire

 - Ability to communicate effectively in English through oral and written skills

 - Ability to meet the department's physical requirements so as to safely and effectively perform the essential job functions
