Position Details:
- 2025 Salary Range: $77,224.30-$109,742.35, depending on qualifications (see 2024-2026 union contract for details.)
- Lateral Entry: Experienced officers will enter the pay scale based on years of service.
- Signing Incentive: Up to $6,000 for lateral candidates
- Longevity Pay: Begins after 5 years of service
- Health Insurance:
$900/month employer contribution for single coverage (covers 100%)
$1,500/month for family coverage (covers approximately 93%)
- Vacation Leave: Lateral vacation accrual will be considered
- Fitness Facility: On-site, brand new facility.
- Workout on Duty Policy
- Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $2,500 for eligible costs
- Shift Schedule: Trimester bid schedule; officers receive two weekends off per month
- Special Assignments (with additional pay): SWAT, Drug Task Force, Investigations, School Resource Officer, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor
