The Marshall Police Department offers a robust 14-week field training program for new officers.
The Department also offers opportunity for growth and a variety of assignments, including field training instructor, ALICE instruction, Emergency Response Unit (ERU), firearms instructor, use of force instructor, taser instructor, emergency vehicle operation instructor, drone operator, Cellebrite technician, participation in the Toward Zero Deaths program, Citizen's Academy presentations, School Resource Officer, and Investigations.
Our schedule consists of rotating 10-hour shifts that allow for every other weekend off.
Applicants do not need to be MN Post licensed or eligible at the time of testing, but must be licensed or eligible by the date of hire.
Qualifications and experience will be considered for lateral transfers.
