• Proactive Patrol
• Criminal Investigations from start to finish
• Community Policing and Programs
• Training Instructor - Field Training, Background Investigator
• TZD Events
• School Events
Sherburn Welcome Officers are LELS members and can use up to 200 hours of paid time off during the first year of employment. Other benefits include uniform allowance, take home squad cars, on call pay, and a supportive administration.
Minimum qualifications:
• Qualified applicants must possess at minimum a 2-year AA/AS Degree in Law Enforcement or certificate from an accredited college.
• Valid class D Minnesota Driver's License.
• MN POST Board license or letter from POST Board showing you are eligible to be licensed.
Applicants must pass a thorough background investigation, drug screening, physical and psychological exam.
