• Competitive starting wage: $36.59 to $39.88 /hour based on prior experience

Lateral Officer Incentives:
Lateral hires will receive the following immediately upon starting:
• 1 to less than 5 years of experience: 100 hours sick leave + 40 hours vacation
• 5 or more years of experience: 200 hours sick leave + 80 hours vacation
• 4 or more years of experience will start at a higher rate of pay based on the current longevity schedule ranging from an additional 2% to 9% depending on prior years of service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be POST licensed or POST license eligible in the State of Minnesota by date of hire. Ability to successfully complete: Oral Evaluation, Background Investigation, Psychological, Physical and Drug Screening.
