Job Description: Isanti County is seeking applications for a full-time Deputy Sheriff. Applicants must be POST licensed or POST eligible to be licensed by the time of appointment. Applicants must meet all minimum qualifications outlined in the job description. This position performs work protecting life and property, patrolling and responding to calls for services, preventing crime, apprehending criminals and enforcing laws and ordinances in the County on an assigned shift or on special assignments, performing investigations and traffic regulation, serving civil papers, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned.
