Isanti Police Department (IPD) has strong community, council and managerial support serving over 6,500 residents and 182 business. IPD officers are provided advanced and specialty trainings, up-to-date squads and equipment and new police department building. Responsibilities include; protecting life and property, prevent crime, apprehend criminals, and enforce laws, and to serve the citizens of the community though proactive law enforcement and building relationships.
Requirements: Candidates must be POST licensed or eligible by hire date, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a comprehensive background check, psychological evaluation, and medical examination. Laterals encouraged to apply. LELS union contract effective January 2023-
