-Patrol city streets, parks, and commercial areas to maintain public safety.
-Respond to emergency calls, investigate crimes, and enforce local, state, and federal laws
-Conduct traffic enforcement, accident investigations, and DUI assessments
-Engage in community-oriented policing, assisting residents with crime prevention efforts
-Provide law enforcement services to Detroit Lakes School District
-Investigate and address narcotics-related activities
-Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports for legal proceedings
-Serve in specialized roles, such as School Resource Officer, Investigator, or Drug Task Force
-Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies and community partners
