Lee Roberts: Ed Roberts' Personal Assistants
Lee Roberts: I like to think that I had a giant family. And my father always said they weren't his attendants, they weren't anything of that nature. They were people that worked with him. They were the closest… people who knew him the greatest. The people that were responsible for his life. And, in turn, they were like uncles and cousins because when I would come and visit my father, I would generally be lying right next to where he slept because… I just liked being close.
He was in the iron lung, and I would pull up my sleeping bag up on the floor because for some reason, the sound that the iron lung made always helped me sleep, which is probably today why I always sleep with the fan, you know, even it's winter.
