Lee Roberts: I think the… His relationship with the media was first developed with the Rolling Quads in Berkeley with that revolution with himself and a couple of other disabled students who then fought for equality on campus. He got a taste of it then, but then with the development of the World Institute on Disability, he used it as a platform to get it… get his message and his wording out to as many people as possible.

My father's relationship with the media was great. They were very interested in his story, and he knew that it was the technology for the masses and the way to get it to the most people… to the most people the quickest. He used it as a tool to get it out there and hit you with it.
