Location: Minnesota Department of Corrections Central Office, 1450 Energy Park Dr, Suite 200, St Paul
The Minnesota Department of Corrections media and communications office is seeking a graphic design/multi-media intern. Duties include:
Designing and laying out print materials
Enhancing and editing photos
Assisting with multi-media elements of the website
Assisting with taking photos as needed
Assisting in video production as needed
Applicant will gain experience and portfolio materials in a wide range of multimedia. Applicants should have an interest in communications, graphic design, video, public affairs and marketing, and should be proficient in design software with a basic knowledge of video and photography.
Internship details: Intern will work 5-10 hours per week for one semester. Schedule is flexible within an 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. work day and a Monday-Friday work week. This is an unpaid internship.
Requirements: The intern must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a program that offers course credit for internships. The applicant should be enrolled as either a junior or senior.
