This position provides support to the Restorative Justice Program of the Victim Services & Restorative Justice Unit. The LPN performs duties to assist practitioners and Registered Nurses in providing health care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include: Perform functions related to "rooming" the incarcerated individual for practitioner examinations, including obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, weight and documenting complaints. Perform phlebotomy functions with incarcerated individuals, including collecting blood and urine samples and performing other tests ordered by the practitioner. Conduct Blood Pressure Clinic and other chronic care clinics with incarcerated individuals. Administer medication as prescribed by the practitioner.
