The Dog Days of Summer are soon to give way to a new school year, which means back to school shopping is about to heat up. A friendly competition to gather school supplies is taking place between staff from Minnesota Correctional Facility-Moose Lake and the MSOP facility operated by the Department of Human Services.

Staff at each facility are gathering school supplies until August 24^th. All donations will be distributed to schools in Moose Lake, Willow River, and Barnum. Members of the public are also welcome to help out. Those who wish to donate supplies can do so by dropping them off in the front lobby at:
