Administrative Services Unit

The Administrative Services Unit provides support to many Health Related and non-Health Related Licensing Boards and affiliated programs. 

WHAT ARE LICENSING BOARDS?

Licensing boards set standards for healthcare providers and facilities in Minnesota to ensure the competency of practitioners and the health and safety of individuals accessing those services. Providers and certain facilities must apply to a licensing board to prove they meet board standards for licensure. Licensees are required to reapply after a set interval of time to ensure continued competence and public health safety.
